Kind Street Library is a small, family-run business. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, and we only email you the things you asked for. Here's exactly how it works.
What we collect
- Your name and email address, when you sign up for a free resource (like our 7 Days of Kindness Conversation Cards) or join our email list.
- Basic, anonymous usage data (such as which pages are visited), collected by our hosting and analytics tools to help us improve the site. This is not tied to your name.
- Analytics and advertising cookies: seeCookies, analytics & advertisingbelow. Where your region requires it, these only run after you say yes in our cookie banner, and you can change your mind anytime.
We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Our products are made for kids, but our website and email list are intended for parents, teachers, and other adults.
How we use it
- To send you the free resource you requested.
- To send occasional emails with new unit studies, printables, blog posts, and encouragement for your homeschool, only if you've opted in.
- To understand what families find helpful so we can make better materials.
Who helps us run things
We use a few trusted services to operate the site and our email list. They process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase: securely stores email-list signups.
- Resend: delivers our emails.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Google: analytics (Google Analytics 4) and, if we run ads, Google Ads. See the cookies section below.
- Meta (Facebook & Instagram): measures signups and helps us show our books to interested families on Facebook and Instagram. See the cookies section below.
- Pinterest: measures how well our Pinterest content works. See the cookies section below.
Cookies, analytics & advertising
Like most websites, we use a few cookies and similar tools to understand our traffic and to reach families who might love our books. In regions that require consent (like the EU and UK), none of this runs until you say yes in our cookie banner, and everywhere, you can change your choices anytime via theCookie preferences link in the footer. Here's the honest list:
- Google Analytics 4: counts visits, traffic sources, and which pages get read, so we know what to make more of. We also use this data to build advertising audiences in Google Ads (for example, "people who visited a unit study page"). Opt out viaGoogle Ads Settings.
- Meta Pixel & Conversions API: measures when a visit turns into a signup or a click to our Etsy shop, and lets us show our books to interested families on Facebook and Instagram. Manage this in yourFacebook ad preferences.
- Pinterest Tag & API: measures how well our Pinterest content works. Opt out of interest-based ads in yourPinterest privacy settings.
One more honest detail: when you sign up for our email list, we share ahashed (scrambled, never plain-text) version of your email with Pinterest and Meta so they can count the signup accurately. We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Ever.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email, or visit our unsubscribe page.
- Ask us to delete your information: just emailinfo@kindstreetlibrary.comand we'll remove you from our records.
- Change your cookie choices anytime via theCookie preferenceslink (also in the footer of every page).
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be shared with our email list.
